Drake’s in Piedmont: New Rocky Mountain Featherbed Outerwear

We met the members of the Circolo—a local social club based in the quaint town of Castagnole delle Lanze’s—around the square . Catching up over Aperol in the sunshine, they invited us to join them, and we soon invited them to model our new and exclusive range of Rocky Mountain Featherbed for Drake’s outerwear. 

Born in Jackson, Wyoming, Rocky Mountain Featherbed made its name crafting down-filled jackets with Western-style leather yokes, expertly marrying the area’s alpine and cowboy influences. We are proud to be an exclusive stockist of these superb outdoor jackets, which are today made in Japan to the same exacting standards as the American originals from the 1970s. Each piece features a two-way YKK zip and nickel snap buttons, and a 90/10 down to feather ratio filling, for optimum warmth. 

New for this season, we worked closely alongside Rocky Mountain to create an iteration of their signature down vest in premium Casentino wool, sourced from rural Tuscany with a rugged and cozy texture, alongside a down jacket in weather-resistant olive waxed cotton, and another new vest in premium Japanese denim.
