Staff Favourites - July

Each month, we're asking the staff from our stores in London, New York City and Seoul for the pieces they've worn the most. Next up is an edit featuring fine woven grenadine, flamé cotton, and a belt that walks the line.
Pink Pinpoint Oxford Cotton Cloth Button-Down Shirt
JL, Retail
"As it's getting warmer, things need to get lighter, and finer. Oxfords are the cornerstone of my wardrobe, so when summer comes round, I switch to the pinpoint version. It has the same appeal as our classic Oxfords, but with a crisper feel, closer to poplin."

Red Fine Woven Grenadine Silk Hand Rolled Tie
JV, Retail
"We sell a lot of grenadine ties, mostly in navy. This is a sort of wine colour that really works with lightweight tailoring, such as navy seersucker. Keep it simple, and let the fabric speak for itself."
SHOP TIES
White Flamé Cotton Crew Neck Long Sleeve Hiking T-Shirt
GA, Ecommerce
"I don't wear a collared shirt too often, especially at this time of year, and this works so well under a blazer, or with an unbuttoned shirt over the top. There's a slubby texture to the flamé fabric, which is quite unusual. Plus it is lightweight, which definitely helps this time of year. I run hot."

Black Plaited Bridle Leather Belt
MJ, Retail
"Casual enough to dress down a suit, but adds a bit of sophistication to a denim look. There's an old photo of Johnny Cash in a western shirt under a fringe jacket and he's wearing a similar belt, need I say more?"
SHOP BELTS
Olive Herringbone Cotton Fatigue Shorts
CO, Design
"If I could have my way, I'd be in shorts until September, and these make a great alternative to a pleated chino short. I wear them with a tee and bandana, then I'll have a blazer on hand to dress it up - Ametora style."
